Hello, everyone!

My name is Sam Anderson, I’m the new president of the Lewis-Palmer Education Association in Monument, Colorado! I teach band and guitar at Lewis-Palmer High School, I love hiking, camping, and enjoy making art of all kinds in my spare time. I am excited to represent our community, and passionate about our work in securing better working and learning conditions in our schools.

Our goals for the 2025/2026 school year are to build out our governance team, starting with establishing an association representative in every building in our district. We will also continue regular membership meetings, worksite visits, and district meetings to learn about and advocate for the issues that impact our staff the most.
