Welcome to the Pikes Peak Education Association (PPEA)! I am Annette Lauer, a middle school choir director in Fountain-Fort Carson School District 8 and the proud president of PPEA. PPEA is a widespread unit of the Colorado Education Association that encompasses 22 local associations, including urban, suburban, and rural communities. Our organization is here to help you build strong teacher conditions in your district to best support the students you see each and every day in your education positions- whether you are a certified or classified employee in your district. In addition to being your unit chair, I also am the PPEA representative to the CEA board and I am here to share your voice at our state level as well as in our region.
